Oasis Academy
Mission Statement
The purpose of Oasis Christian Academy is to educate and to train our students: spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially. Because the Lord requires a vessel unto honor, guidelines for personal habits, definite dress codes, and proper leisure-time activities are provided. The principle of self-discipline is the basis of our disciplinary structure. We believe the student must honor the rights of others and respect the individual's freedom. Not only must a young person have his appearance and actions reflect the Lord Jesus, but he must also have wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to serve the Lord in the plan God has for his life. Therefore, the Bible is not substituted for any academic subject, but it is integrated into the total educational program. The Bible is taught so that the student will develop sound values that will govern every step of his life.
The chief objective at Oasis Christian Academy is to prepare students for the possibility of full-time Christian service. According to Matthew 9:37, "...The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few..." Our school strives to prepare students to be thrust into the harvest field (John 4:35) and to accomplish much for the glory of the Lord. "To the praise of the glory of his grace" (Ephesians 1:6).
The mission of Oasis Christian Academy is to assist parents in equipping their children to be balanced citizens prepared to impact their homes, churches, and communities for Christ.
Oasis Christian Academy seeks to accomplish its mission as it strives to achieve the following goals:
- To Enable students to develop the character of Christ
- To Educate students with excellent, Bible-centered academics
- To Equip students for a lifetime of service for Christ
- To Encourage students to achieve their full potential
- To Elevate the student's love for God and country

Remember our Core Values - Feb. 28 2009
I cannot believe it is already March. As we strive to continue the miracle that God has started here at Oasis, I amazed that God has allowed myself and my family to be apart of this. It seems like every week someone is coming to the Lord, being baptized, joining the church, or graduating from discipleship. We are truly blessed to be witnessing a model new testament church in the twenty-first century.
As we near the end of winter and the weather becomes nice, it is my prayer that all of us at Oasis would remember our core values. As we face the economic pressure and many decisions for the future of our family and country I believe it is important for us as Christians that we represent who we follow Biblically not emotionally in these uncertain times. This is why I want us to take a look at our core values: Love God, Learn the Truth, Live for Others, and Leave a Legacy. To learn more about our core values, you can take a look on our core value page or go to the podcast page to listen to the messages preached on our core values. If we apply these to our lives I believe we will see great dividends spiritually for the cause of Christ. As we turn on the t.v. and see so many depressing things and hear many speeches of doom, I am excited for the future of the church and the opportunity we have as Christians to let these core values shine through in our lives as we strive to reach others for Christ. I am reminded of the verse, "For such a time is this." So lets look at our life not in discouragement but that God has placed us in this moment "For such a time as this" to represent Him.
I hope to see you Sunday!
